Watch a Boeing 747-8 Wing Flex on Takeoff in This Awesome Video
You know we love a window seat and the awesome views it offers. But one of the best parts? Watching the super-flexible new wing of the Boeing 747-8 raise up on takeoff.
With a seat in Business Class on the lower level, right in front of the wing, we set our camera to HD video mode, propped it up against the new larger windows and enjoyed the view.

The Day We Burst Into Tears at Washington-Dulles Airport
Ever just started crying in an airport? Until this week, we'd have answered "no"and even this week, it wasn't anything to do with our flight.
No, it was the sheer power of the blocks of the AIDS Memorial Quilt currently on display at Washington Dulles, and in particular this block, "Sewn with love by the flight attendants of Continental Airlines."

Davis' Mega Maze

If you were the kid in class that was always drawing mazes for your friends, head to Davis' Mega Maze and Farmland in MA and tackle one for yourself. Constructed entirely of corn and sorghum plants over eight acres and designed by a British maze designer, it's easy to get lost in. It's considered to be one of the top three mazes in the world in terms of difficulty.
The cool thing about crop mazes is that they must be reconstructed each year, making themes a big hit. One year the Davis' did a Wild West theme, another a dinosaur one. There's also moveable gates, so a visit to the same maze twice doesn't assure you any success. Tix to Davis' are $12.95 and they recommend you call first to be sure it's open.

Old Library Inn

If you've got extra time in Denver and want to stay somewhere interesting about 100 miles east of the city, check out the Old Library Inn in Sterling.
The inn is exactly what it promises--a renovated former Andrew Carnegie library. It's got three rooms and obviously tons of corners filled with books and hidden comfy chairs. It's also conveniently run by a psychotherapist/interior designer, so it's not only beautiful on the inside but you can undergo counseling if need be.
The Old Library Inn's got more then most B&B's--like double shower heads, in-room jacuzzis, wireless access in every room and you can get a price reduction if you prefer not to partake in the included breakfast. Rooms go from $95 to $130 on weekends.
