Swan Love Isn't Forever, After All

Remember a big, booming Jaunted headline last April: Swan Love is Forever? We lied.

In one of those bizarre swan-loves-plastic-boat-shaped-like-swan, doesn't-fly-south love stories, we reported on the Australian black swan who wouldn't leave Muenster, Germany for the winter because she had fallen in love with a paddle boat.

The sad news is that this love is no more. Apparently Petra, the real swan, now has eyes for a younger, (also real) swan, a resident at the Allwetter Zoo which hosted Petra and her plastic lover this winter. We hope that plastic swans don't have feelings--and that the entrepreneurs who created the swan love snowglobes didn't make too many.
