Visit Fernie, Canada to Take a Spin in a 'Hot Tub Time Machine'

Hot Tub Time Machine is the story of four friends (John Cusack, Craig Robinson, Clark Duke, and Rob Corddry) who take a relaxing dip in a ski resort hot tub and end up back in 1986. But don't feel bad for these guys, as this is exactly what they needed to get their lives back on track. It's also exactly what John Cusack needed to get dudes to see his movies again. Until now, most guys still see Cusack as that sissy Lloyd Dobler with the boom box over his head.

Many of those magical hot tub scenes were filmed at Fernie Alpine Resort in Fernie, British Columbia. Last spring, John Cusack and the rest of the crew spent several weeks in Fernie, turning the resort into a 1980s winter wonderland. The resort was brimming with 100s of extras sporting leg warmers, head bands and one-piece ski suits.
