The Art of Daichuri

Where: Daichuri, Korea

Our Seoul Glow crush continues this week, as the Korean video podcast's latest installment gets us a little teary (and freaked out, when the guy in the background starts singing about the rich drinking the blood of the poor). Seoul Glow contributor Bum Lee recently visited the village of Daichuri, South Korea, where the last remaining residents have finally agreed to leave and submit their former home to Camp Humphreys, a nearby U.S. Military Base. The above video is Lee's tribute to the art he found there. You, too, might be able to catch it if you visit before the end of March. The people of Daichuri will move on, but the area will clearly never be the same. A moment of silence, please.
