How To Get Tickets To The Ebertfest in Champaign, IL

Critic Roger Ebert has recently announced the line-up of his 14th annual film festival, known as the Ebertfest, which will take place at the Virginia Theatre in Champaign, IL on April 25- 29.

This year's films includes a mix of classics and recent award nominees like Citizen Cane, A Separation, Higher Ground, Joe versus the Volcano, Phunny Business: A Black Comedy, Big Fan (with an appearance by the movie's star Patton Oswalt), Kinyarwanda, Terri, On Borrowed Time, Patang, and Take Shelter (with the movie's star Michael Shannon).

Along with these films, the fest will also includes talks with the directors, writers, and producers who made the movies possible.

Roger Ebert is famous for lending his thumbs to rate flicks. If you want to see a bunch of his thumbs-up selections, check out the movie critic's little-known film fest. The 13th annual Ebertfest will hit the screens in the critic's hometown of Champaign, Illinois, April 27 to May 1.

Champaign, about two and a half hours south of Chicago, will host the 12-film festival featuring important works that Ebert thinks deserve more love. The Pulitzer Prize-winning writer will introduce each movie and lead discussions afterward.
