Horse-racing fans are getting pumped for Santa Anita Derby. The April 9 race is the last major California stakes for three-year-olds advancing to the Kentucky Derby. But this weekend, the races will be secondary to the massive Santa Anita Food Truck Festival II that will take over the racetrack.
About 80 food trucks from all over Southern California will drive into Arcadia, 14 miles northeast of downtown L.A., for the April 2 festival. They will roll up to the racetrack's infield. Some wildly popular trucks will be cooking up their gourmet goods, including Great Food Truck Race competitors Crepes Bonaparte, Nom Nom Truck and Ragin' Cajun.
